Recent ActivityI teach three standard language arts classes and one English I Honors class. Our class motto is "Failure is not an option." Your child is taking an active role in making sure they master all standards covered in class. Ask your child what essential skills we are currently covering in class.

Class Announcements EXTRA CREDIT!!!!!!!!!!Your child can earn extra credit by practicing their spelling words on SPELLINGCITY.com for thirty minutes on spelling test weeks. They simply need to bring in a note written and signed by their parent indicating they practiced using this tool.
Reading JournalReading journals are due each Thursday. Students are expected to have read five times for 20 minutes each time. In addition, they have to write a five sentence response to their reading each time. In order to receive full credit, they must also have a parent signature.
